mE AND MY POKER GROUP OFTEN HAVE HOLD EM TOURNAMENTS AMONGST OURSELVES, USUALLY 10 PLAYERS 2000 DOLLAR POT 200 A MAN. OBVIOUSLY 10 PEOPLE AT ONE TABLE EASILY DONE WE RAISE THE ANTE ETC. PAY OUT 1 THRU THREE. I WANT TO HAVE A 20 MAN TOURNEY HOW DO I GO ABOUT THIS, IE HAVING MORE THAN ONE TABLE, HOW DO I MERGE THE TWO TOGETHER AT SOME POINT.

5 team, if you are going to have around 20 people you might want to get one more person and have three different tables with 7 people each. (or 8 per table - IMO 10 is too many) Have increments (either hourly or by # of hands) and raise blinds. As you raise the blinds people will will start getting eliminated. Gradually consolidate everybody down to two and then the final table. Just make sure tables are balanced with as the same amount of people or as close to as possible.
